Overview / Responsibilities
FleetZero Inc. is currently recruiting an Analyst, Fleet & Infrastructure for our growing global decarbonization and fleet energy management consulting practice.
The decarbonization and fleet energy management consulting practice specializes in Transportation and Energy Decarbonization, Asset Management, Operations Efficiency and Optimization, and Financial Management. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated and resourceful individual looking to make a positive contribution in the outcomes for climate change impact reduction, transportation and in creating financially sound, more resilient, sustainable communities and infrastructure for public and private fleets.
The target market will initially focus on Canada and connect to our expanded North American and International network.
This role can be based in Southern Ontario and Greater Toronto office. Hybrid/remote work options are also available.
Responsibilites
- Conduct market research and analysis on emerging technologies and innovative business and customer solutions for the Transportation sector
- Assist with technical writing and financial analysis of fleet and infrastructure supply chain and business cases for transportation users
- Coordinate with senior FleetZero staff in delivering consulting projects
- Prepare meeting minutes, agenda, and other project coordination support
- Assist with proposal development and submissions
Skills & Experience
Join the team of global experts leading the transportation energy transition. A successful team member will possess the following.
- Strong interest in the emerging resilient and sustainable transportation sector
- Passion for transportation and/or mechanical systems
- 1 to 2-years of excel modeling, financial analysis, or general forecasting experience
- Undergraduate degree or specialized college diploma in automotive and/or heavy duty mechanical. A focus in Urban Studies, Business or Engineering is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Graduate degree in business, engineering or planning is an asset
- 1 to 3-years of experience working in the transportation or infrastructure industry is an asset
- Understanding of Transportation and Infrastructure, and Energy Transition is an asset
- Understanding of electric, diesel, natural gas and hydrogen drivetrains is an asset, in addition to experience with maintenance principles, practices and concepts
